Our Beginnings

Located at 486 Hill Street, just steps from the lake, Hometown Tap was created with a clear vision—to offer Green Lake a comfortable, welcoming space to enjoy high-quality drinks and genuine hospitality. What started as a casual concept quickly became a local favorite, thanks to a strong community that values connection as much as craft beer.

There are few places in Green Lake that offer both cold beer and a clear view of the water. Our location combines the beauty of the outdoors with the comfort of indoor seating, giving you options no matter the weather. Whether it’s a sunny summer day on the patio or a cozy evening inside, Hometown Tap delivers the perfect backdrop.

Seasonal Hours, Timeless Atmosphere

We’re open on weekends during the heart of Green Lake’s vibrant summer season—Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Our seasonal approach allows us to focus on delivering the best experience when our town is most alive.
